The man of the hour is Thalapathy Vijay with his Bigil mania taking all of Kollywood by storm. The movie has been making all the right noises from the time it was announced as Thalapathy 63 and is building up to a crescendo and will be treated as a festival by itself, when it releases for this Deepavali. It is already known that Thalapathy Vijay will next be working with Maanagaram director Lokesh Kanagaraj, in his next project which is going by the working title Thalapathy 64. Even before the complete cast and crew details of this project have been announced there have been a lot of speculations over Thalapathy 65, Vijay's next movie.

Of late, there are very strong reports doing the rounds that Vijay will be coming together with director Perarasu for his 65th movie. The duo have earlier given some blockbuster hits in Sivakasi and Thirupaachi and this gave a lot of credence to the rumours. However, when we checked with our sources close to Thalapathy Vijay's camp, they denied these to be baseless rumours. Our sources also added that it has not yet been decided as to who would be directing Vijay in his 65th movie and that an official announcement regarding this would happen when something gets finalised.

The audio launch of Bigil is slated to happen on September 19th. This event is being planned to be an extravagant one and a grand celebration it is sure to be. AR Rahman has composed the music for Bigil and the two singles - 'Verithanam' and 'Singappennaey' have been topping the charts right from the time they were launched. Nayanthara plays the female lead in this Atlee directorial, which has been produced by AGS Entertainment.
