Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, Doctor, under Kolamaavu Kokila director Nelson Dilipkumar's direction has had the actor's fans mighty excited ever since the project rolled into production. Jointly being produced by Sivakarthikeyan’s SK Productions in association with Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios, promotions for the film had been carried out even during the nationwide lockdown with the makers releasing two songs - 'Chellamma' and 'Nenjame' - both of which have received a tremendous response. With Anirudh Ravichander's music turning out to be a major bonus for the film, the Doctor team has announced that dubbing works have now officially begun as on Thursday (September 17).

Dubbing on Doctor had begun with a formal ritual ceremony in Chennai, with the team adhering to all the government protocols including social distancing and the sanitization process to keep them safe from the novel coronavirus. Pictures from the ceremony today morning prior to the beginning of the dubbing works have been released and also includes popular TV anchor turned actress Archana Chandhoke taking part.

Doctor includes Telugu film Gang Leader heroine Priyanka Arul Mohan playing the female lead role, with Vinay Rai as the antagonist. Yogi Babu, Milind Soman, Arun Alexander, Sunil Reddy, and Reddin Kingsley are set to be seen in major important roles. The film, which has Kalai Arasu serving as the co-producer, also includes Vijay Karthik Kannan handling the cinematography, followed by R. Nirmal on editing. Among the others forming the technical crew are costume designer Pallavi Singh, art director D.R.K. Kiran, and Anbariv for the stunt choreography.

Expectations for Doctor shot up to sky-high heights especially after the makers released a motion poster earlier this year, which showed Sivakarthikeyan in an uber cool, sleek and stylish look. The short promo left fans excited with many wondering whether the film would be on the lines of an action thriller. Sivakarthikeyan's fans will be looking for a ripper of a film with Doctor considering his Hero turned out to be an average grosser at the box office last year. The actor's fans have a lot to expect in the days ahead as they will get to see him in Doctor and the long-awaited, sci-fi film, Ayalan, under R. Ravikumar's direction and featuring Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman's music.
