Shikara - The Untold Story of Kashmiri Pandits is an upcoming Hindi language historical drama produced and directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra under his own banner, Vinod Chopra Films. The film is based on the Kashmiri pandit exodus from Kashmir. The film marks the return of Vidhu Vinod Chopra to direction after 13 years in India. His last directorial Indian film was Eklavya: The Royal Guard which released in 2007. Shikara's music is composed by Sandesh Shandilya and Abhay Sopori with lyrics written by Irshad Kamil while the background score is composed by A. R. Rahman and his team Qutub-E-Kripa.

Almost 3 decades later, most have been unable to return. Shikara is the story of resilience in the face of insurmountable odds.
