Shanthanu's new avatar in Aayiram Vilakku
Contrasting with the soft romantic roles played in his first two films, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj is all set for a image makeover. For the first time, the actor will play a Madurai-based don, a typical mass action hero,�in Aayiram Vilakku directed by Hosimin of February 14 fame.
Sathyaraj reportedly plays an aging gangster in this film, who meets an ordinary coolie (Shanthanu) and trains him to be the next big gang lord to take revenge on his enemies. Shanthanu will dance to the tunes of Srikanth Deva; Suman is the villain and�Sana Khan is the heroine.
Revealing more about this movie, the actor says, “I am happy with the outcome. Stunt scenes won’t be unbelievable. One thing is sure; no one would laugh when I bash up baddies. At the same time, the screenplay is very interesting.”
