Chennai Super Kings had a thumping win over Kolkata Knight Riders last night at Chepauk, Chennai and the CSK fans are in the joyous mode. Except for Andre Russell, no other player looked great with the bat, however, there were some good cameo performances by Piyush Chawla with the fielding and Kuldeep Yadav with the bowling. Kolkata's owner and Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan came down to Chennai to enjoy the match live.

Thalapathy 63's director, Atlee was also seen seated next to Shah Rukh, sharing few words. The social media was flooded with pictures of both of them seated together that helped in spicing up the rumours that the Bollywood Badshah might do the Hindi remake of Mersal with Atlee. There were also rumours that Atlee might do a fresh film with SRK in the future. It is also said that SRK and director Atlee had an important meeting post the match at the director's office in Chennai.

Keeping this aside, Shah Rukh took to Twitter to share his opinion on KKR's defeat. He was all praise for Andre Russell's performance and in a light hearted manner, he made fun of Piyush Chawla's appearance in the match. He tweeted, "Much fun in Chennai today. Well played @ChennaiIPL & my fantastic @KKRiders we did our best but sometime it’s not good enough. @Russell12A @imkuldeep18 will giv u guys a massage, @SunilPNarine74 will help. #piyushchawla ‘I am in love with ur new body’".

In another tweet of his, SRK shared that he had a great time meeting the film industry friends in Chennai, and the netizens say that SRK indirectly hinted about his meeting with Atlee. SRK said, "Thought while waiting to go back home to Mumbai....I should for no reason do a Chennai Selfie...so..bye Chennai & all the wonderful friends I met from the film industry & of course the sporting crowd at the stadium. Whistle Podu!!"
