Comedy actor Vivekh has been a people's favorite over the course of his illustrious three decade old career having brought laughter, while also conveying thought-provoking messages in his films. An ardent follower of late Indian President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, Vivekh has for many years now been urging the people across Tamil Nadu to indulge in planting saplings, for a better environment for the present and future generations. The veteran actor, who has of late been participating in photoshoots, has had fans complimenting him for his latest look in the pictures, which have since gone viral.

Vivekh, who also maintains a good rapport with his fans and followers on social media, recently responded to a follower who stated that he found the comedy scenes in the Madhavan-Meera Jasmine starrer, Run, directed by Lingusamy to be disrespectful. The action romantic film released in 2002 turned out to be a blockbuster and included Vivekh's comedy as a separate track, which went on to be well-received. In the film, the veteran actor is shown disrespecting his father in a number of ways, but eventually regrets his actions when he faces hardships. A Twitter user posted a tweet in which he expressed his displeasure over the comedy scenes in Run. The social media user wrote, "I have immense respect for Vivekh sir for the actor and the nature enthusiast he is. However, I'm unable to bear these kinds of comedy scenes that show parents being disrespected. This is not my criticism towards him! This is just my personal opinion. But, I like his ideology on superstitions."

Shortly after, Vivekh wrote back in a tweet saying, "For disrespecting his parents, he falls in the Cooum river, loses a kidney and ends up sleeping on the pavement with lepers. This is the moral." The veteran actor's response has since garnered a lot of appreciation from his followers. Run holds a special place in the comedy superstar's career as it fetched him one among his five Tamil Nadu State Film Best Comedian awards. Last seen in this year's rom-com Dharala Prabhu, Vivekh had a successful 2019 as he appeared in 'Thala' Ajith’s Viswasam and 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Bigil, including playing the lead role in Vellai Pookal, which went on to receive a largely positive response from fans and critics.
