The film which released on November 12 on Amazon Prime Video as a direct OTT release, opened to highly positive reviews unanimously and the entire team of Soorarai Pottru is now on cloud nine. The film is being raved for the top notch performances of the lead actors, GV Prakash's brilliant music, and Sudha Kongara's conviction in telling an inspiring story.

Produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment, Soorarai Pottru is based on the life story of Captain GR Gopinath, the founder of Air Deccan. Director Sudha Kongara and team have made quite a few changes for the cinematic experience. Soorarai Pottru is currently the talk of the town and the entire social media is abuzz about it.

As the film is having a good buzz among the people, the makers have now released the video of the romantic song, 'Kaattu Payale', that features Suriya and Aparna Balamurali. This is the wedding song which is full of fun and energy. Dhee's rendition and GV Prakash's foot-tapping beats, along with Snehan's beautiful lyrics made this song a chartbuster. The song has grown even more now, after the release of the film as Suriya and Aparna show beautiful chemistry through this song. It is a visual treat to see them both together. Maara - Bommi's relationship is one of the key aspects that worked in the favour of Soorarai Pottru and this song showcases their rapport neatly.

It is indeed good to see Sudha Kongara using the songs as a medium to tell a portion of her story. Aparna Balamurali has got a huge fan base in Tamil Nadu and her character of Bommi aka Sundari has won the hearts of everyone. The video song of 'Kaattu Payale' has been released on the official YouTube channel of Sony Music who owns the film's audio rights. The fans were pleasantly surprised seeing the release of this video song. Ever since the film released on OTT, the fans have been requesting Suriya to screen the film in the theatres after a few months as the experience would be much more effective.
