Phoonk 2 scary contest
Just like Phoonk, for Phoonk 2 also, a challenge was planned by the makers. If any viewer dared to see the film sitting all alone in a theatre and not run out scared he would get a cash prize of Rs.5 lakhs. This time the heart rate of the viewer was monitored using an ECG machine.
From five short-listed contestants, Hitesh Sharma was chosen to participate. But the�movie was too scary for him.�Screens outside the hall�monitored his heartbeats and facial expressions. After watching the film for 45 minutes, Ritesh looked away from the screen since he couldn’t take�any more�scares. “Many scenes were really scary but I was controlling myself. Then came a scene which I couldn’t bear any more, so I gave up.”
RGV�congratulated the contestant on behalf of his production house for his sportive attitude. He further revealed his interest to make the third part of the horror series with the same team and said he would include Hitesh Sharma in Phoonk 3.
