Netflix India on Friday unveiled a bunch of new stills from Money Heist season 5, which shows plenty of action taking place inside the Bank of Spain where everyone's favorite thieves are locked up since where the show had left off at season 4, including Sergio Marquina (The Professor) / Salvador "Salva" Martín being tracked and caught by Najwa Nimri as Alicia Sierra. Announced to come out in two installments of five episodes each, Money Heist season 5 volume 1 will premiere on September 3, while volume 2 will be streaming from December 3, 2021. The latest first look stills offer a new glimpse into the events that will be taking place on the show, including the sneak peek showing Úrsula Corberó as Silene Oliveira (Tokyo) facing most of the action.

These latest stills from La Casa De Papel, as the show is called in Spanish, also throw plenty of light on some other major characters like Jaime Lorente as Ricardo / Daniel Ramos (Denver), Itziar Ituño as Raquel Murillo (Lisbon), Rodrigo de la Serna as Martín Berrote (Palermo / The Engineer) and Esther Acebo as Mónica Gaztambide (Stockholm) most notably, as the gang involved in the heist of the Bank of Spain have remained locked up for more than 100 hours. Money Heist season 5 is the show's final season and will see the gang taking on their biggest enemy, one they have never faced before - the Spanish Army.

Premiering first in 2017, Money Heist has since become a global phenomenon, with the show enjoying a massive fan following across India as well. Show creator Álex Pina recently said, "When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself. We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure."
