Ko is one of the biggest hits in Tamil cinema and it gave a massive breakthrough for the film's lead, Jiiva. Ko was directed by K.V.Anand, who unfortunately left us due to Covid 19 complications recently. Ko was widely appreciated for its highly engaging screenplay, strong content, and effectively packed sequences. Harris Jayaraj's songs and Richard M Nathan's classy visuals were other highlights of the film. Even to date, Ko stands to be one of the biggest hits in Jiiva's career. The film was initially supposed to have Silambarasan TR in the lead role, but due to various reasons, he could not act in the film. Having said that, a few unseen pictures from Ko are now doing the rounds on social media and the best part is that we get to see Silambarasan TR in these pictures.

We do not know if these pictures are from a test shoot or an actual film shoot, but the pictures have taken the fans and film buffs by huge surprise. In these pictures, we see Ajmal lying dead on Simbu's lap and the images take you back to the impactful climax of Ko. In another picture, we see Simbu and Karthika hiding out. Seeing Simbu as the lead of Ko gives a different perspective and it is interesting to see him in this character. Well, Simbu and KV Anand were in talks for a project and were supposed to team up for the director's next project, but unfortunately, he is no more alive.

Simbu's next release in Tamil cinema will be Maanaadu which features SJ Suryah as the antagonist and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, Maanaadu is a political drama that has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. A few more days of shoot is left to be completed and it will be planned and executed when the Covid situation gets better. Simbu will also be teaming up with director Gautham Vasudev Menon for a new film titled Nadhigalile Neeradum Sooriyan, which will be bankrolled by Vels Film International. The film will have music scored by AR Rahman. For now, check out the latest trending unseen pictures from Ko featuring Silambarasan TR here:
