Kuselan problem solved: Theatre owners, distributors compensated

Pyramid Saimira has finally put an end to the Kuselan crisis. Following Kuselan’s average business, distributors and theatre owners all over Tamil Nadu demandedcompensation from Pyramid Saimira which holds the film rights; the film did average business since the public expected it to be a complete Rajni film and was disappointed with his short role. Also, the film was marketed as a complete Rajni film and that is how P. Vasu preferred to call it. Now, Pyramid Saimira has decided to compensate all these theatre owners and distributors. It is highly generous of Pyramid Saimira to pay for the distributors’ loss despite suffering a personal loss of Rs. 30 crores due to Kuselan.

On a press meet held on November 17th, Pyramid Saimira’s CEO Saminathan made this announcement. He added that the producers of the film and Pyramid Saimira pooled in the compensation money; the share that should go to distributors has already been given to them and theatre owners will get their share soon, maybe in a day or two.

Mr. Saminathansaid that of late there have been plenty of rumours about Pyramid Saimira. He stated that all these rumours are blatant lies and baseless and he does not understand why someone even started them! He also added film industry too is reflecting the downtrend of the global market and the fluctuations in US dollar values is greatly affecting the film industry too as many MNCs have begun operations in Kollywood today. But due to its meticulous planning, Pyramid Saimira is able toavoid losses from this global crisis.
