A film keenly being awaited by the entire nation, the 'Rocking Star' Yash starrer K. G. F: Chapter 2, the sequel to the 2018 blockbuster, K. G. F: Chapter 1 had been earlier this year announced for a worldwide theatrical release on July 16. Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced under Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films banner, KGF: Chapter 2 featuring music by Ravi Basrur is currently in its post-production stages, with a thunderous teaser for the film being released sometime back. With the makers waiting to get the film into theatres in the hope that the coronavirus pandemic that is wreaking havoc across India will be subdued by the time of its announced release plan, a few photos from the interiors of the Taj Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad have now surfaced online giving us a new glimpse into the scale of the production.

A Twitter fan page has shared the latest photos of the palace claiming that the makers of KGF: Chapter 2 shot important scenes for three days in February inside the Taj Falaknuma Palace, including a song at a location that has been described to be quite low-key. Furthermore, the scenes shot in the royal location are said to be an extension of Yash's character Rocky's palace in the film. "KGF team has shot a song for C2 in Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. This below pic is from one of the secret places of the palace. Team has shot this for around 3 days from 24 Feb 2020. There are all chances of being used this location as extension for Rocky's palace," the tweet read.

KGF 2 will see Yash reprising his role as Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka. Rocky alongside actress Srinidhi Shetty, who as well is returning as the female lead. Expectations for KGF 2 have been massive, especially after KGF: Chapter 1 became the highest-grossing film in Kannada cinema history, while also turning out to be an astounding success on Amazon Prime Video.. KGF 2 will see Yash's Rocky going up against the Adheera character that was teased in the first film, with veteran Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt cast in the role. As with the original film, the sequel too is getting dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages, with Malavika Avinash, Anant Nag, Archana Jois, Vasishta N Simha, Avinash BS, Achyuth Kumar, Balakrishna returning to their original roles, while Prakash Raj, Raveena Tandon, Saran Shakthi are the new big additions to the cast.
