Director R. Parthiban’s upcoming venture is Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam which stars a bunch of newcomers in the lead roles and established celebrities in supporting roles.
The film was initially supposed to hit the screens August 1, but it pulled out from the race at the last minute. We hear that the theatre owners are not coming forward to replace Velai Illa Pattathari with new films.
Also, Parthiban stated that he wanted to wait for the release of Jigarthanda and Sarabham so that his film could get the maximum attention. Considering other factors, he announced that the film will be hitting the screens on August 29.
