Kanihaa's acting career took a small break in 2008, when she got married. Though initially she had plans to make this a permanent break and settle down in the US, she made a surprise and successful comeback in 2009 with the movie Bhagyadevatha, directed by Sathyan Anthikkad.
Then again motherhood forced her to stay away from tthe limelight. But now after the birth of her son, she is all set to give acting another shot. She will perform the female lead in Lal's Kobra featuring the Mega star Mammootty. This film will hit the screens this year. Kanihaa will also feature in Renjith's next Spirit, starring Mohanlal and Prakashraj.
