Jyothika was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and Radhamohan's Kaatrin Mozhi. Both the films managed to do well at the box office, with positive reviews from the audience and critics. Her next film, as we had reported earlier, has been titled as Raatchasi. This film is directed by debutante Sy.Goutham Raj and produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.

The makers have now released the official trailer of the film which looks promising and socially concerning. Jyothika plays a school teacher in the film who guides her students in the right way and who also raises questions against the mishaps inside the management of a school.

Jyothika relationship with her students is expected to be a major high point in the film. Jyo's makeover and look is mature. The trailer doesn't leave a major impact, but still, it does shows some kind of promise. We would have to wait until the film's release to know how the film pans out to be.

On the technical front, Raatchasi has music by Sean Roldan, cinematography by Gokul Benoy, and editing by Philomin Raj. The trailer is also attached with Suriya's NGK which has hit the screens today. Catch the trailer here:
