Yet again, for their upcoming Farah Khan directorial Happy New Year, the team used different platforms for the trailer to be viewed by fans all over. As the film officially launched its trailer on August 14, it simultaneously used all possible Digital Platforms- Social Media, Mobile (VAS), DTH and Application Economy to ensure a large user preferred reach for the trailer.

While YouTube has been a preferred option for trailer launch, Red Chillies picked Facebook. Happy New Year’s trailer was first launched on Facebook’s native video player using an application wherein the trailer was not only launched on the Facebook page of Happy New Year but also the timelines of all the users who subscribed to the app.

Needless to say, the trailer got a great reach of 1.5 million views, 2.8 million post interaction and over 18 million FB users reached in just 24 hours.

Featuring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivaan Shah, Sarah-Jane Dias and Jackie Shroff, the film is set to release this Diwali.
