Thalapathy Vijay is right now waiting for the theatrical release of his next, Master which has got huge expectations among the fans and film buffs. After Master, Vijay is most likely to work with director AR Murugadoss for Thalapathy 65 and the film will mark their fourth collaboration after Thuppakki, Kaththi and Sarkar. Meanwhile, there have been reports that Vijay is in talks with acclaimed director Vetri Maaran for a project and this news took the social media by storm. Surprisingly, Vetri Maaran also confirmed in a recent interview that the talks are on and added that he would wait for Vijay’s call. This is going to be one of the major big projects in Tamil cinema’s history as the combination in itself makes you excited.

Music director GV Prakash recently had an interaction with his followers on Twitter and during the session, he answered to various questions posed by them. One of the fans asked him about the Vijay - Vetri Maaran project. Since GV Prakash is a very close friend of Vetri Maaran and has composed music for four of his directorial ventures, this question was directed at him. Also, it is rumoured that he is going to compose the music for the Vijay - Vetri Maaran film whenever it happens.

Answering the question, GV Prakash said, “It is definitely a most wanted project. Both of them want to work with each other and they’ve been trying for a long time. Since both of them are committed to their other projects, they are not able to figure out the correct time to mount this one. Maybe, we can expect the project to happen next year or the year after, according to their commitments. It will definitely be one solid project. It will be the most expected film,”.

GV Prakash has already composed music for two of Vijay’s films - Thalaivaa and Theri and his work in both the films were loved by the fans. Let us keep calm and wait for the highly anticipated Vijay - Vetri Maaran project to happen very soon. One can be sure that the film’s announcement will be earth shattering and it will be a huge blockbuster at the box office.
