Popular South Indian actor Bala, best known among fans for starring in Ajith Kumar's 2013 blockbuster Veeram, recently tied the knot with a doctor named Elizabeth Udayan, with the wedding reception taking place on Sunday. Bala looked dashing in a creme kurta, while Elizabeth was a sight to behold in her red and golden lehenga-type dress at their reception, which was held in Thrissur. The grand marriage reception saw many notable personalities grace the occasion and pictures are also doing the rounds now on social media where the couple are all smiles. Bala, who is blockbuster Tamil film director 'Siruthai' Siva's brother, was earlier married to singer Amrutha Suresh and got divorced in 2019, with the former couple also sharing a daughter named Avantika. Outside of the recent developments in his personal life, Bala, who made his acting debut as the lead in the 2003 Tamil film Anbu, has garnered a reputation for himself over the years with roles in films like Kadhal Kisu Kisu, Manjal Veyil, Karthi's Thambi and also appearing as one among 'Thala' Ajith’s four younger brothers in Veeram in Tamil, while also featuring in Malayalam ventures such as Mammootty's Big B, Mohanlal's Pulimurugan and Lucifer, Prithviraj's Puthiya Mukham and Ennu Ninte Moideen, to name a notable few.

As for his upcoming projects, Bala will next be seen in the 'Superstar' Rajinikanth-starrer Annaatthe being directed by Siva. Announced as a grand Diwali release in November, the film being produced by the prestigious Sun Pictures banner is billed to be a mass family rural entertainer and includes a stellar star cast featuring names like Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Soori, Sathish, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal roles.
