Popular Tamil comedy actor Bala Saravanan's father, SA Ranganathan passed away, early this morning (June 11). According to the information from official sources, Ranganathan died due to Covid 19 complications. He had tested positive for Covid 19, a few days back, and was admitted to a private hospital in Madurai for medical treatment. Early this morning, he breathed his last. It can be noted that only a few weeks before, Bala Saravanan had lost his brother-in-law (sister's husband) to Covid 19 and now, it is his father.

Members from the film industry and the fans have shared their heartfelt condolences on social media and people have extended their moral support and strength to Bala Saravanan.
