CCL: Bollywood stars vs. South heroes

What could be better than watching the ongoing cricket World Cup? Well, there is the soon to begin Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). Yes, Bollywood and Cricket have been and will always be India's major crowd pullers and in a novel attempt to combine the two, the CCL has been launched.

The league which is being planned is based on the 20-20 cricket tournament module will feature teams of film actors from different languages (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada). The tournament which is scheduled to take place in June will have a friendly match between 'South Superstars' and 'Mumbai Heroes' on March 5 at the ACA-VDCA stadium in Vizag.

The 'Mumbai Heroes' team will be headed by Suniel Shetty and includes Salman Khan, Shabbir Aluwalia, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Kabir Sadanand, Kunal Khemu and Mahesh Manjrekar amongst others, while the team itself is owned by Salman Khan's father Salim Khan.

Sudeep will captain the 'South Superstars' in the team which consists of Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Madhavan, Sarathkumar, Suriya, Vijay and others.

This surely is one match that everyone will look forward to!
