One of the biggest names to have appeared on the smash hit Tamil reality TV show was actor Kavin. The popular Tamil TV actor, who has also starred in a few films, contested in Bigg Boss Tamil season 3. He was one of the most talked-about personalities last year and had exited the show on Day 94 after accepting Rs 5 lakhs given by Bigg Boss. His decision had come as a major shock as was the hot favorite for many to emerge as Bigg Boss season 3 winner, with the title eventually going to Malaysian singer and actor Mugen Rao.

Since Bigg Boss 3, Kavin had been announced to be starring in the upcoming Tamil film, LIFT, opposite Bigil actress Amritha Aiyer, with a majority of production already wrapped up. He is also said to be working on Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film, Doctor, and is revealed to be serving as an assistant director. Having said that, Kavin has been keeping a close watch on the proceedings in the ongoing Bigg Boss Tamil season 4, while occasionally sharing his views about the show on his Twitter page. The actor has now expressed his strong support for Bigg Boss 4 contestant Suresh Chakravarthy, who is one of the most controversial names in the current season. Taking to his Twitter page, Kavin wrote, "May the force be with you #SureshChakravarthi sir.. !", referencing the iconic from the Star Wars films.

Kavin had last week also shown his support for Suresh Chakravarthy when the veteran consoled fellow Bigg Boss 4 contestant Gabriella Charlton after they failed in a task. Suresh's compassionate words and actions left fans not only stunned, but also garnered him massive appreciation from all corners, including Kavin, who shared a snapshot from the episode featuring both Suresh and Gabriella, while putting on a red heart emoji.

In comparison to the previous editions of Bigg Boss, fans have been witnessing a radical change in the ongoing season in terms of aged contestants putting up a tough fight. The earlier seasons, which as well included senior contestants, did not make such a big impact as Suresh Chakravarthy has done so far in the current edition. His actions have largely been controversial, but he also is perhaps the most debated star on the show right now. Instances where he had confrontations with Anitha Sampath, Rio Raj and most recently Sanam Shetty led to his popularity skyrocketing overnight.
