Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 came to a grand conclusion last month, with the show witnessing phenomenal viewership yet again on Vijay TV and the streaming platform Hotstar. Hosted by actor-politician 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan, Bigg Boss 4 saw actor Aari Arujunan emerging as the title winner, with Balaji Murugadoss, Rio Raj, Ramya Pandian and Som Shekar declared as the runners up. Despite Bigg Boss 4 turning out to be a grand success, one contestant who became a sensation across Tamil Nadu for his antics on the show was the veteran Suresh Chakravarthy.

Fondly called as Suresh Thatha by his ardent fans, the Bigg Boss 4 superstar went on to become one of the most debated and controversial contestants to participate on the show. Suresh Chakravarthy has acted in many films and also hosted television shows in the past, including being a part of Vishal's upcoming Thupparivaalan 2 for which he had shot before entering Bigg Boss Tamil season 4. In that light, Suresh took to his Instagram page on Monday to drop the big announcement on his first film after Bigg Boss and said that he has joined ace filmmaker Vasanthabalan's next venture, which stars Kaithi and Master sensation Arjun Das and Bodhai Yeri Budhi Maari and the upcoming Sarpatta Parambarai heroine Dushara Vijayan in the lead roles.

Being produced by Vasanthabalan himself under his Urban Boyz Studio, the film recently had a formal launch pooja, with the project already creating a lot of buzz on social media. The addition of Suresh Chakravarthy will no doubt be a big boost for the upcoming film's team as he was a major USP on Bigg Boss, with his early eviction from the show leaving many fans shocked and stunned, who expected him to give a tough competition to the other contestants. He did however make a return, which gave the show a big push towards the end of Bigg Boss 4.
