Bigg Boss Kasthuri reveals coronavirus scare at shooting spot

Actress Kasthuri Shankar has been a prominent name in Tamil cinema ever since she landed starring roles in the early 1990s and has made appearances in several popular South Indian ventures over the course of her career. She is at present a part of the ongoing Telugu television serial, Gruhalakshmi, being aired on the Star Maa channel. Kasthuri's popularity shot up after she made an appearance last year on the third edition of the smash hit Tamil reality TV show, Bigg Boss, and is also one among the few outspoken celebrities in the Tamil film industry having raised her voice on various social, political and national issues.

Now, Kasthuri has spoken about the coronavirus that has affected lakhs of people across the world while revealing how she and her crew were shocked upon learning about it during their shoot near the Mindspace tech park in Hyderabad, which was soon after evacuated. There have been several instances of coronavirus across the nation including Mumbai, Delhi, Andra Pradesh and Kerala.

Kasthuri's statement on her Twitter page about the coronavirus scare is as follows: "Mindspace offices in Hyderabad under lockdown today due to coronavirus scare. We are shooting nearby only. Our entire crew is shitting bricks". On the professional front, Kasthuri Shankar will be seen in a major supporting role in today's release, Velvet Nagaram, starring Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and the upcoming Vijay Antony starrer, Thamezharasan.
