There have been several instances of coronavirus across the nation including Mumbai, Delhi, Andra Pradesh and Kerala.

Kasthuri's statement on her Twitter page about the coronavirus scare is as follows: "Mindspace offices in Hyderabad under lockdown today due to coronavirus scare. We are shooting nearby only. Our entire crew is shitting bricks". On the professional front, Kasthuri Shankar will be seen in a major supporting role in today's release, Velvet Nagaram, starring Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and the upcoming Vijay Antony starrer, Thamezharasan.
