The highly successful Ala Modalaindi, which featured Nani and Nithya Menen in the lead, is now being remade in Tamil, with Gautham Karthik of Kadali fame in the lead. This young actor is busy juggling between the sets of his Tamil movies Sippai, Vai Raja Vai and this remake. This yet-to-be titled film is helmed by Ravi Thyagarajan, and produced under Ravi Prasad Productions. The latest is that the film is in its second schedule, and the team is currently shooting in Hyderabad. Rakul Preet Singh plays the leading lady in this remake.
