Udayabhanu sings a film song after 40 years
Popular Malayalam playback singer K.P. Udayabhanu will sing a Malayalam film song after a gap of 40 years!
Udayabhanu, who is�to record the song on Wednesday, said that he does not know the name of the film that he is singing for. "Music director Tej Merwin asked me to sing and I agreed. I will get more details tomorrow when I go for the recording," he added.
Asked why he had to wait for so long,�the 74-year-old singer promptly replied: "It is simple; no one called me to sing. The last time I sang in a Malayalam film was a duet with B. Vasantha way back in 1969 for Tharavattu Amma. Till then I had sung around 200 film songs."
