Jawan is the next anticipated film of one of the top tier actors of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, with the blockbuster Tamil director Atlee. The makers of the film Red Chillies Entertainment recently released a two-minute-long glimpse as a prevue from the film in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The video has already become viral on social media and has become a topic of discussion. The mass action-packed glimpse had many key moments that show it will a one of a kind theatrical experience that should be missed by fans and movie Buffs. Here are some of the highlights that we saw in the trailer:

Unmasking
The makers of Jawan had teased the prevue will be unmasking while announcing the release date of the glimpse video. As specified, the high point of the video was the unmasking scene of Shah Rukh Khan at the end of the trailer where he appears sporting a bald head on a metro train. The first look of the film that was released features the actor with his face covered in rags and now, this video reveals the look of the actor behind the mask. 

Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi

The makers have revealed the look of the characters played by actors Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone for the first time in the video. It shows Nayanthara would be playing the role of an important goverment official as she can be seen getting off a vehicle with a siren on it. Vijay Sethupathi's character is first introduced as he is practicing boxing on a punching Bag and later in the trailer, he is shown in a suit, pointing a gun. 

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone’s character in the film is introduced in an action sequence amidst rain and people protesting in the background. There are speculations that the actress could be playing the role of the mother of the character played by SRK. The prevue begins with the verses of the actor introducing himself as he could the person who “I am the promise I made to my mother”. It shows a baby amidst a huge facility with only women present which could be a prison.

SRK in dual role?

A dance sequence in the prevue shows SRK in a young look and the ending the actor is seen in a old look wth a bald head. In a shot the where is says ready? he is showing wearing half a mask. Ths has created speculation that the actor could be playing a dual role in the film, but it is not confirmed.

The army of women
The prevue features a group of girls who are armed with guns in a metro. It shows actresses Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and others holding rifles. The voice over also shows the lead actors saying “Good to go girls” and a reply from a bunch of girls saying “Yes, Chief” which shows that the character played by King Khan could be working with an army of women.

Metro hijack
Though the initial scenes in the prevue show massive action sequences happening in different other locations. Many shots in the teaser feature a metro and the last 20 seconds show SRK entering a metro with a duffle bag, NSG security forces entering a station and the actor also unmasks in the metro train. This has created speculation that a hijacking a metro could be an important part of the plot of the film.
