Sandya: I know my limits
One girl with a good head on her shoulders is Sandya. She has been known to do hep, college girl roles that don’t go overboard in terms of ‘glamour’. She had stated in an interview that she’s not averse to doing ‘glamorous’ roles but that she would never the cross the limit into vulgarity.
She had turned down the chance to act in Lawrence’s film which was supposed to feature six heroines. Why? Well, first of all, she’s got her hands full with Odipolaamaa, where she’s acting as a college student. Then in Kannada, she’s got a plum role opposite Shivarajkumar - the movie is just about to start shooting.
When she was approached for the Lawrence starrer Rajadhi Raja, where she got the chance with six other heroines, she already had her hands full. Plus, how much of her acting skills could she exhibit with the screen teeming with other talented babes?
So that’s the reason why she said no for a great chance to act with Lawrence.
