Namitha to buy house in Kerala!

South India's glamour queen Namitha was recently in Kochi for the shoot of her debut Malayalam film Black Stallion, being directed by the famous Pramod-Pappan duo with comedy actor-turned-hero Kalabhavan Mani in the lead.

During her visit at the Athirapally waterfalls for shooting a song, Namitha simply adored the greenery and climate of the place. "No wonder if they call it God’s own country! I think it’s definitely the most beautiful place in India for shooting films. I might even buy a house near the backwaters," the sexy siren was quoted as saying.

According to sources, Namitha plays the role of a bar dancer, for which the producerswill pay hermore than 25 lakhs, the highest-ever for a Mollywood heroine! "My role in Black Stallion demands glamour but there is also scope for performance. In fact, I had offers from Mammootty sir but missed them due to date clashes. I am open to do more Malayalam films and have no problem if the role is glamorous," she added.

Black Stallion is produced by Jagadheesh Chandran under the banner of Kichu films; the script is by Rajesh Jayaraman. Scheduled to begin in October 2008, Black Stallion was delayed due to the slow progress of Pramod-Pappan's other big-budget Malayalam film Musafir (starring Rahman, Bala and Mamtha).
