Kollywood-Tollywood T:20 announced
A Twenty:20 cricket match between young stars in Kollywood and Tollywood will be organised in Dubai at one of the popular cricket stadiums on December 2.
Actor Abbas will be the captain of the Kollywood cricket team that has Madhavan, Arya, Bharath, Jayam Ravi, Jiiva, Shanthnoo, Jai, Atharva, Vikranth and Nanda. The Tollywood team will be captained by Tarun and will have Ravi Teja, Srikanth, Ayappa and Allari Naresh and others.
Actor Abbas said, "Five years ago, I had hosted a star cricket match in Dubai, which was a huge hit. Now, we hope to make it even more entertaining as most of the actors from both the teams have played club cricket earlier. There is a huge population of South Indians in Dubai who will definitely turn up for the match."
"The match will be played in all seriousness as there is prize money and a lot of other awards waiting to be won. We will be playing the match in the IPL format, and some leading cricketers who took part in the IPL tournament will be present as guests. If the tournament clicks, we will bring it to Chennai and Hyderabad shortly," he added.
