Jan Lokpal bill: Tamil film industry extends support
It looks like the Anna Hazare bug has hit Kollywood too! Various Tamil film industry associations will come together to hold a one day fast (between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on 23rd August) to extend support to Anna Hazare's movement. Film Federation of India president L. Suresh said the Federation was inviting all members of the Tamil film industry to take part in the one-day fast. The organisers are expecting around 500 artistes (directors, producers, actors and technicians) to take part in this fast.
