Cheran: Down but not out

Reacting to the average performance of his latest venture, Cheran is disillusioned that good films like Pokkisham do not get adequate audience support. Cheran said he has now learnt the hard lesson that a movie has to cater to the tastes of younth.

Going into flashback mode, Cheran said that he never aspired to become an actor. “I was forced to act when big actors refused to act in my scripts. Of course, I found the actor in myself, but at some cost,” lamented Cheran who has been forced to fulfil many duties.

Undeterred by the setback of Pokkisham, Cheran says his next script is ready, a tale within a tale. He is again looking for an actor who could fit the role. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Cheran is confident of bouncing back. Knowing him and trusting his considerable talents, it is a safe bet that Cheran will be back with a bang, and soon!
