Actors Ajay Devgn and Tabu have completed filming for their upcoming movie Bholaa, the Hindi remake of the Lokesh Kanagaraj's 2019 action thriller Tamil hit Kaithi. Tabu took to her official Instagram handle to announce the grand news of the movie’s production wrap to her 2.1 million followers. Sharing a picture featuring both her and Ajay Devgn together from the film's set, she wrote, "Look!! We finished our 9th film together!💙 #wewrap #bholaa @ajaydevgn @adffilms ". Check it out:
Bholaa is also Ajay Devgn's fourth film as a director as he has earlier helmed films such as U, Me aur Hum in 2008, Shivaay in 2016, and Runway 34 which came out earlier this year. The two actors have previously shared screen space in movies such as Vijaypath in 1994, Haqeeqat in 1995, Thakshak in 1999, Drishyam in 2015, Golmaal Again in 2017, and De De Pyaar De 2019. Apart from Bholaa, the duo will also be seen in Drishyam 2, which is helmed by Abhishek Pathak.
The original Tamil film, which was written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, revolved around an ex-convict (played by Karthi) who decides to meet his daughter for the first time after being released from prison but gets caught in a face-off between police and drug mafia. Devgn is taking on the lead role in the Hindi movie, which is produced by his banner Ajay Devgn Fiilms, T-Series Films, Reliance Entertainment and Dream Warrior Pictures.
