Kannada actor Harish Rai of KGF fame has been unwell for a little over three years now. However, his treatment for it kept getting delayed because he was busy shooting for KGF Chapter 2 and because of a shortage of money. When he finally visited the doctor, Harish Rai was diagnosed with cancer and operation carried out immediately. But even after the operation, there were some problems.

In a recent interview with the Gopi Goudru YouTube channel, Harish Rai opened up about all those incidents and expressed his difficulty and hardships for the first time. Harish said, "The doctor said it was the fourth stage. I asked how much time I had left. The doctor told me not to be afraid for three years. Since radiotherapy does not work, they are being given a different pill. The cost of those pills is high. It can cost Rs. 3.5 lakh per month. The doctors told me to take the tablets for 8-10 months".

He continued, "Even during the shooting of KGF 2, I had a lump in my throat. However, I did the shoot. I also did a fighting scene. The tumor was not visible to anyone. I did not tell anyone. I did it myself. I was afraid that if everyone came to know about this problem, there would be no offer. So after the release of KGF 2, I have not given interviews to some people. I do not know if all of them were a mistake".

Now that a bright light has been shone on the issue, various stars and artists from the Kannada film industry have rushed to his aid. Harish Rai revealed in an interview with a media outlet that a Kannada hero, who did not wish to be named, has selflessly come forward in order to donate the money required for his necessary treatment.
