Anjali goes glam
For actress Anjali, critically acclaimed film Angadi Theru has changed her outlook on life and also her dreams in cinema. The actress, who performed a memorable role in her debut film Katradhu Tamil, ended up signing on for highly commercialized films and glam roles, not wanting to wait too long for serious roles to come by. However, Angadi Theru has given her a fresh new perspective. And now, the actress is all set to try her hands at glamour in her upcoming film Maharaja, directed by Manoharan, a former associate of actor-director Arjun.
The film narrates the story of an ordinary government employee, played by Nasser, who is suddenly exposed to a whopping salary equal to what IT guys draw these days. The star cast also includes Sathya and Anitha.
