Cinematographer Rajeev Menon is all set to make a biopic on classical music exponent M.S. Subbulakshmi. Interestingly, Rajeev Menon has approached Aishwarya Rai to play the role of the ace carnatic singer, but Ash rejected the offer as she felt that it was more of an art film. And when the Kadal cinematographer approached Vidya Balan with the same, she grabbed it immediately. It is heard that Vidya is a great fan of M.S. Subbulakshmi and is very excited to play te role.
