The latest update from the Rasam unit is that Varuna Shetty has been signed on as the lead lady for the film. Varuna is cast opposite Indrajith, who plays a cook in the film. As the title suggests Rasam's story revolves around restaurants and catering services. Sources say that superstar Mohanlal will play a key role in the film. Nedumudi Venu, Devan, Nandhu and others will be seen in supporting roles. The film is being produced by Group Ten Entertainment.
