The success of the film has given the thought of remaking it in other languages as well. Rumors are that Vikram has expressed his interest to star in the Tamil remake of Drishyam.

Sources close to Vikram have confirmed the news and reiterated that Vikram will likely sign up the movie, but they are not sure about his date allotments. Vikram will be releasing his much hyped movie Ai this year.
