Priya longs for Neelambari role
In her desire to be known as a versatile actress, Priyamani yearns for a role like Ramya Krishnan's Neelambari act in Padayappa. "There was so much of fire in that role, daringly different from the usual male-dominated scripts. I will consider myself lucky to get a chance like that. I also have a burning desire to do a full-fledged no-holds-barred comedy film. Besides the change, I see it as the best way to destress from the dreariness of a stereotyped family-oriented subject," says Priyamani with honesty.
Priya says she opted for glamour roles to break the myth that she could perform only demure roles. So Priya is shedding her inhibitions in a dream song sequence with Bharath in the forthcoming Arumugham.
