Pasupathi's re-entry

Popular Tamil-Telugu actor Pasupathi is not new�to Kerala audiences! He debuted into Malayalam with Mammootty's super hit Big B in 2007 and is all set to make his re-entry with director M.A. Nishad's forthcoming�Vairam, starring Suresh Gopi, Mukesh, Jayasuriya, Kalabhavan Mani, Bhama, Samvritha Sunil and Meera Vasudev.

Talking about his role in Vairam, which is based on a newspaper report of a real life incident in Kerala, Pasupathi said Vairam is about a father’s quest for justice. "I play Sivarajan, a bank employee living with his wife Devi (Meera Vasudevan). Tragedy befalls when the couple's only daughter Vairamani (Dhanya), a plus two student, joins�Sivarajan's search for the truth. What is that truth? That is the suspense."

Vairam has Suresh Gopi playing a lawyer, while Mukesh and Kalabhavan Mani are investigative cops. Jayasuriya plays Thilakan’s son. Written by veteran Cherian Kalpakavady, whose recent Bhariya Swantham Suharthu was critically acclaimed, the film has Thilakan, Jagathy, Sai Kumar, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Rekha and others in the cast.

Produced by N. Siva Rao under the banner of NASR India, the film is penned by the director himself. Sanjeev Sankar wields the camera. M. Jayachandran has scored music for lyrics by Gireesh Puthenchery.
