Megastar Mammootty’s much awaited project Munnariyippu's release date has been shifted. The movie was scheduled to release in June but has now been postponed to August because of Ramzan month and Football World Cup.

The makers have confirmed that Munnariyippu will hit the theatres on August 15. Director Venu has cleared confusions regarding the genre of the movie. Venu clearly mentioned that it is not a sentimental movie, but a conventional commercial flick with punch dialogues. Renjith has produced this upcoming commercial entertainer.
