International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala

The 4th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala, organised by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy in association with the Cultural Affairs ministry, will be held between July 31 and August 4.

The organisers have already announced the names of films selected for the competition section. They are as follows:

Animation Films category: A Mail for Col. John Weits, It’s the Same Story/ Baat Wahi Hai, Journey to Nagaland, Memories and Utsav.

Long Documentary category: A Pestering Journey, Between Border and Fence, Draupadi’s Descendents, Made in India, Miyar House, Mrigtrishna, Mullaitivu Saga, Ottayal/ One Woman, Rozabal Shrine of Srinagar, The Open Frame, The Pyre/Meleri and You Don’t Belong.

Short Documentary category: A Drop of Sunshine, After the Deluge, At the Stairs, Chidakashathile Vachana Sooryan/ O.V. Art of Debates, Kiran Joy of Giving, Koh-i-noor, Narayaniyethedi/ In Search of Narayani, Niyamgiri You are Still Alive, Platform No.5, Post Box No. 418, Roots of Love, Tales from Napa, Talking Heads(Muslim Women), There is Something in the Air, Vertical City and Where the Gods Give Up Caste.
