Alexander the Great resumes shooting
Upcoming Malayalam director Murali Nagavalli's much delayed Mohanlal starrer Alexander the Great, produced by V.B.K. Menon under the banner of Anugraha Cine Arts, has resumed its shooting in Ernakulam.�It is scheduled to release during Vishu.
According to the director, Alexander the Great, scripted by debutant C. Balachandra, is not a historical film, but a comical racy entertainer in which Mohanlal will play Alexander, a man with diverse qualities; Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar and Innocent will appear in key roles.
Interestingly, Mohanlal will not have a heroine. However, popular Telugu actress Meenakshi Dixit will play a meaty role. Alexander the Great will feature songs penned by Gireesh Puthencherry and set to tune by Ilayaraja.
