FICCI conclave to begin in Chennai on December 1

The third Media and Entertainment Business Conclave (MEBC) 2011 will be held in Chennai on December 1 and 2, 2011. The two day event is organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

The curtain raiser for the MEBC was held in the city yesterday. Kamal Haasan, who is also the chairman of the conclave, explained that the conclave would discuss about financing, copyright issues, entertainment tax and the Competition Commission’s regulations in these two days.

The conclave themed 'Embracing the digital world' will discuss issues confronting the industry across various states. More than 500 media and entertainment personalities from India and abroad are expected to take part in this event.

The conclave will also cover a wide variety of topics including  digital cinema, 3D film making, Gaming, Radio, Print media, Film Revenues,  Budgeting, Television, Animation and Visual Effects.
