Sandalwood loses three film personalities

Last week was a very sad time for Sandalwood as it lost three of its noted film personalities at a stretch. It started with the demise of famous singer-composer-actor Raju Ananthaswamy due to kidney failure. Raju, 39,�was a well-known artist in Karnataka.

Debutant producer Madesh, 35,�passed away on Thursday due to brain hemorrhage.� His debut film Sacha has Madesh’s brother Vickey in the lead role and it was Madesh’s dream to launch his brother as a hero.

The third blow to Sandalwood came when famous character artist Bharat Bagavatar passed away�from a brain hemorrhage. He was 50. Bhagavatar, a household name in Karnataka, was the son of legendary Honnappa Bagavatar, eminent actor, director and producer in the 30's and 40's. In a career spanning�30 years, Bhagavatar�acted in more than 30 films and many TV serials.�
