Romeo Juliet is directed by Lakshman and the film brings the Engeyum Kadhal lead pair of Jayam Ravi and Hansika back together on screen. When enquired, the director stated that the film will have a happy ending unlike the original Romeo Juliet story. Jayam Ravi plays the role of a poetic guy who believes in romance of the bygone era.
Hansika’s character in the film looks out for safety and security from her guy. The story is about how these two characters fall in love with each other.
