Ramdev to go abroad
The first schedule of Ramdev (Telugu), a triangular love story directed by Sk. Basheed and produced by Sk. Karimunnisa under the banner of SBK Films Pvt. Ltd. has been completed in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. The crew is now planning to begin their next schedule abroad for canning of songs. The film stars Abbas, Akash, Saikiran, Gracy Singh and Archana in lead roles.
"We have completed over 80% of the shooting. We will can four songs in Austria and Australia on Akash, Abbas, Saikiran and Archana. After returning, we will choreograph three more songs and balance talkie portions�in Hyderabad. The first copy would be ready by April end and we are planning to release the film in May," director Basheed said.
Abbas plays the role of Ram, while Akash plays Dev. Saikiran is the villain. Gracy Singh is the heroine, while Archana�has a glamorous role. Story, screenplay and dialogues are by the director himself.
Set in the backdrop of family, action, romance and comedy, Ramdev also has Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Manju Bhargavi, Kavita, Hema, Ali, Geeta Singh, Surya, Venu, Chitram Sreenu, Sattenna, Dasanna and others in the cast. Music is by M.M. Srilekha, camera is by Vijayasri and dialogue assistance is by Uday Bhagavatula.
