Issaq may not have earned great reviews as a film. But actor Prateik, who plays the lead in the film is riding high receiving with great reviews on his performances.

Aamir Khan, who watched the film, is all praises for the star, stating that, he has great potential as an actor. He says, that even when he saw the trailers, he loved him. "Though I didn't get the chance to work with him again, I am happy to see his good work," he added.

Based on Shakespeare's play "Romeo And Juliet", the film is directed by Manish Tiwary.
