Naanayam, loyalty with a difference
Naanayam is an action-thriller-comedy about a bank robbery starring Prasanna and Sibiraj in lead roles. Produced by S.P. Charan's Capital Film Works, the film is directed by debutant Sakthi S. Rajan.
For the first time, Sibiraj is being introduced as the bad guy in an almost-Sathyaraj, tongue-in-cheek, villainous style.�Talking more about this role, the actor says “The director has created a character keeping me in mind. This will give boost to my image. I am sure this will be a different character after Lee. Though�I have done eight films, this film will stand apart.”
“In every film, the villain is shown in a bad light from the first shot, but this role is different. My anti-hero role is just like a ordinary man.” he adds. Meanwhile, Prasanna is also confident about the film, saying. "I am confident that this film will give me a good name."
The leading ladies are Ramya and Yasmin. Malayalam actress Yasmin is making her debut in Naanayam opposite Prasanna. Meanwhile, Sibi and Prasanna are keeping their fingers crossed as their fans and film buffs eagerly await the release of the film.
Ace singer S.P. Balasubramanyam, father of producer Charan, is also playing an important role in the film. Music is wielded by James Vasanthan while the lens is been�handled by Omprakrash. The film is all set to grace screens on Pongal (Jan 14).
