Famous music director Bharadwaj, who has given many amazing music albums till date had been on quite an extended hiatus. His melodies last lilted our ears and hearts in the 2010 movie Kalavaadiya Pozhudhugal. Now, he is getting back to Kollywood with the upcoming movie Adithi. He is also working on Senthatti Kaalai Sevatha Kaalai. When asked about his long absence, Bharadwaj revealed that he had used this time off cinema to turn all the 1330 Kurals in the Thirukkural into songs. He added that he had composed each of the three parts of the Thirukkural - Aratthupaal, Porutpaal and Kamatthupaal, in different styles.

Bharadwaj also mentioned that he had brought in more than 500 Tamil singers from across the world including all the famous singers from here. The talented music director added that he took up this initiative to make it easier for people of all age groups to appreciate the wonders of the Thirukkural! He is planning to release this album on January 17 - Thiruvalluvar Day!
