Mani Ratnam launches Sharad Haksar's One Eyeland
Ace film maker Mani Ratnam launched Sharad Haksar's One Eyeland, a fine collection of creative images shot by the finest international photographers, in Chennai today. Speaking at the launch, photographer Sharad Haksar said “Professional photographers from across the world have been waiting for the launch of the One Eyeland Book. We are really glad that we’ve been able to bring out a fabulous collection in record time.” The book consist of over 179 digitally manipulated images.
"After seeing the book, I immediately agreed to launch the book. The photographs are stunning and inspirational; as film makers, we can immediately connect this with our work," director Mani Ratnam said.
As on date, One Eyeland has 30,000 plus registered members from all over the world with 1100 featured photographers, over 42,000 submitted photos and 9571 selected images! The team is also planning to launch the book's digital version and an ipad app soon.
